Welcome to NOJI
Take a moment, settle in.
Established in 2025, NOJI is a British design studio crafting considered furniture and objects for everyday living, created for people who seek calm, thoughtful functionality, and design that lasts.

About Us
At NOJI, we design objects that bring joy, calm, and intention into everyday life. Our work is shaped by a commitment to thoughtful simplicity, balancing minimal forms with tactile, quietly expressive materials.
Our designs draw from a blend of European modernism, Japanese principles, and timeless design lineages, including Bauhaus, Danish, and American mid-century aesthetics. This mix of influences informs our approach: restrained, functional, and deeply considered.
Across furniture and design objects our aim is to craft pieces that heighten awareness and enrich the spaces people live in.

Our Story
NOJI began in London in 2025, born from a desire to design objects that not only serve a purpose, but shape how we feel. After years working across interactive art, fabrication, and material-led design, founder Noah Kelsey set out to create a studio where objects could be both useful and artistic. Usefull sculpture.
The studio’s name NOJI draws from the Japanese characters 野路, meaning “field path” or “wild road.” It reflects a way of moving through the world: unhurried, observant, and open to the small details of daily life. This philosophy guides every aspect of NOJI’s practice, from the choice of materials to the way each object is assembled, handled, and experienced.
In its early chapter, NOJI works in small production and made-to-order runs, embracing limitation as a form of focus. This scale allows the studio to remain deeply intentional, ensuring each release carries the same care, precision, and quiet purpose that define the brand.
